Mahalaga na
Kamusta y'all!
We had a bagyo this week! But it was
just a lot of rain so it wasn't anything too crazy. It did cool down
for a couple days, so we were happy about that.
This last week
we received a witness that this is the Lord's work and He is sending us
where He needs us to be. There's a member we're teaching who hasn't been
to church for nearly a year because of her job. She can only come home
every once in a while, and so I've only met her a few times. As we were
planning on Saturday, the thought came to me to put her in our back up
plan. I didn't really expect her to be there, but figured we could at
least try and didn't think much of it. When we got there Sister Clarita
was so happy to see us, during the lesson she told us that on Friday
night she had prayed that we would come. We did come, but not because we
knew she wanted us to. The Lord answered her prayer by sending us to
her home. I am just so grateful for the opportunities I've had to be the
instrument through which Heavenly Father shows His love to His
children. And I know those blessings and miracles aren't just reserved
for missionaries. Each of us can follow the spirit and show love for our
friends and family. As we pray in faith, and put forth our best effort,
the miracles will come. We may just have to look a bit closer to see
them. I know this is the Lord's work, and I know we're not alone in our
efforts.
Agandad y'all!
1. Sister Gigi's going to Manila for a month :(
Pictures from Facebook once again. I copy every picture that I find her in even if you can barely see her :) See if you can find her in every picture. :) Pictures from zone conference where it was an Elder's birthday.
