Kamusta y'all!
Last monday was a bit of an adventure with Sister Ala-an's mom coming, so we didn't have much time to email. So last week was extremely hot, and a little rough because everyone was on vacation for Holy Week. But it was interesting to see how it was such a big occasion for people here. Pretty much everyone had work off, and we were asked by several people why we were working even though it was Holy Week.

I know that Heavenly Father puts people in our path.
Saturday night we were walking home in the dark, when someone stopped
their bike next to us. We were a little wary, but he just asked us if he
could come to church, and of course we told him he could and gave him
the address. We didn't think much of it until the next day when he
actually came! He turned out to be related to someone we're teaching,
and afterwards we set an appointment to teach him later this week. We
wouldn't have talked to him that night, because it's not really safe to
approach people in the dark. But Brother Rex was prompted to stop and
talk to us, because he knew we had something he needed. I know that when
people are prepared to accept the gospel, Heavenly Father will guide
them and us to be in the right place at the right time. I know that this
is the Lord's work, and that each of us has a part to play in bringing
about "the immortality and eternal life of man."
Ingat y'all!
