Maraming himala

Kamusta y'all!
This week has been excellent and we have seen so many miracles. Missionary work kind of goes in waves, and the last few weeks have been pretty slow.  We've worked really hard, but nothing really came from it. But I know that this is God's work, and we just need to do our best and be where He needs us to be.
We had tradeoffs again this week, and I got to stay in the St John's ward with Sister Conger. It was weird to be the one who knew the area and the people. We had dinner with Neetu and her daughter who we talked to on my first day in Florida. The sisters had talked to her a few times, but they hadn't talked much about the church. She made us some delicious Indian food, and we were able to talk to them about the Book of Mormon and they were both interested in learning more!
We got a referral from a member in our ward, but he was from a different area. So we called the sisters from his area to give them the referral, and they had one for us too! It's the best friend of someone who's getting baptized this week, and she's already given him a Book of Mormon! We're so excited to see him.
Then we met Jean. And he just moved into our neighborhood, so we invited him to church. And he came! But he came to the ward after us because he didn't want to go to church at 8am, so we went to sacrament meeting again with him. And he got up and bore his testimony! He talked about how he was wondering where he could go to church, and then we invited him to our church. And how he knows that God knew what he needed. He just loves learning about Christ, and we're so excited to teach him more.
Then we had dinner with some members, and Brother Amatangelo invited us to visit a less active/part member couple with him. And we met Sister Hall! She's been taught by the missionaries for 13 years. So we talked about the Restoration and the importance of priesthood authority. She said she believed Joseph Smith restored Christ's church and that the Book of Mormon was true. So we asked her "What have you against being baptized?" (Mosiah 18:10), and she was like "nothing." ...so she's going to get baptized.
Honestly, nothing that happens as missionaries is a result of our own efforts. God is always directing everything we do. And I am so blessed to have this time to dedicate everything to His will and work.
     Ingat y'all!
