Hinanap ang kagalakan
Kamusta y'all!
Well, after several weeks of hard work in
Caliguian, we got to see some miracles :) Sister Su'a and I had
exchanges with our sister training leaders on Friday. Sister Cabaraban
taught me a lot about finding joy in the journey, and gave us a lot of
suggestions on finding new people to teach. So we applied those
suggestions on Saturday, and we found five new people to teach! And they
were all so cool and we're so excited to go back to them. Then Sister
Gigi, who we've been teaching for a while now finally came to church! It
was getting close to 10 and church was about to start, and she wasn't
there yet. But she'd told us on Saturday that she was definitely coming
so we hadn't lost hope yet. And then we see her daughter running in from
the parking lot. They had such a great time at church, and the members
were so happy to see them too.
One of the speakers in
sacrament meeting yesterday talked about how obedience brings blessings,
but exact obedience brings miracles. It's easy just to do the minimum
and call it good, and we do receive blessings from keeping even the
simplest commandments. But I know that if we want to experience real
miracles we have to exercise real faith and real diligence. Those
miracles usually won't come immediately, but they will come.
Aganad y'all!
