Nagulat ba?

What it's only been a couple weeks and she was transferred again?!
She was having communications issues with her companion, not language but maybe culture. Anyway not really sure but they talked to the mission president and awhile later they called telling Julia she would be moved from Solano to Alicia. So after serving for six months in her first area she is now in her third area in less than three months. :)
She is 1/2 hour away from the big city of Cauayan so yesterday she went to a fancy internet cafe there and was able to video chat with us!! It was a much better connection than the Christmas video chat and it was awesome to see her!

 Kamusta y'all!
So I'm in Alicia now which was a bit of an adventure. I miss Solano and Sister Anzano, but now I'm with Sister Ala-an who is super fun. But with all that excitement, the highlight of the week was definitely General Conference. I love that Christ's gospel is so simple, and it's the same for all people and all times. Christ's Atonement applies to everyone, but it's also perfectly personal. During General Conference I really felt the importance of individual conversion and having personal experiences with Christ's Atonement. That's what everything we do comes down to. No one can do that for us, and no one can be converted for us. And nothing we do at church will convert us if we aren't having spiritual experiences on our own. Some of our most spiritual experiences should be in our own homes. I know as we listen to and then act on the words of those called as prophets along with all the other inspired speakers at General Conference, we will see increased light and power from Christ in our lives. I know that Heavenly Father loves every one of His children, and I know He wants us to experience the true joy that only He can give.
     Ingat y'all!

1. My kabahays (housemates) in Solano
2. The gate we had to climb at 5am (last week Julia told us the story of one of her housemates had to leave very early in the morning to go to a training meeting in Cauayan City and this sisters companion is not a training leader, so they all had to go with her to the bus stop and then go back. Well the gate outside their apartment is not unlocked until 6 am and the sister that had the key took it with her when she was transferred. So picture sister missionaries climbing this gate, in skirts, in the dark not once but twice :)
